The Brief

Reimagining Science Through Space and Story

Arcadia Senior School partnered with Praxis to transform their science corridor into a space that ignites curiosity and celebrates the spirit of discovery. The goal was to design an environment that engages middle and senior school students through the lens of scientific breakthroughs, while remaining deeply aligned with Arcadia’s brand identity and educational philosophy.

Building a Design Language From the Ground Up

The corridor needed to move beyond traditional textbook visuals. We had to build an entirely new design language—one that blended Arcadia’s color palette and visual DNA with a contemporary, educational aesthetic. Each element had to reflect the school’s ethos of innovation, exploration, and academic excellence, while ensuring consistency across multiple age groups and functional zones.

A Visual Journey Called ‘Discovery Through Design’

Praxis developed a theme called Discovery Through Design, transforming the corridor into a visual journey through science. Each wall became a storytelling surface, highlighting the minds and moments that have shaped our understanding of the world. The color system drew from Arcadia’s core brand hues, adapted through gradients, textures, and thoughtful iconography to create a cohesive visual rhythm.

The final space is more than a corridor—it’s a gallery of ideas that informs, inspires, and invites students to see science not just as a subject, but as a living narrative that continues to unfold.
